About

southwest name change requests may involve different procedures depending on the type of error and the passenger’s circumstances. A minor spelling mistake may require different steps from a legal name change following marriage or another official process. Travelers should keep their booking confirmation number and relevant documents ready when contacting customer support. It is also helpful to ask whether any fees, restrictions, or supporting documents apply before proceeding with a correction.
